| A beautiful piece of wood |
| Quality |
| Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? |
| ITS MADE BY TAKAMINE!!! EXCELLENT QUALITY!!!!!!! Even the cheaper Jasmine guitars by Takamine are excellent quality!!! |
|
| Reliability |
| How has it stood up over time? |
| I just bought it and its the first guitar I've owned that has never stepped out of tune once. |
|
| Overall |
| Your general opinion of this product. |
| Overall, this is one of the best acoustic guitars I've played in awhile. I am a soldier in the US Army and I haven't played for awhile. I'm used to playing Gibson and Taylor guitars and now I just need something to drag along to Afghanistan for my deployment and I came across this beautiful piece of wood. Plays better than my Gibson! And that's saying alot! |
|
| Playability and Feel |
| How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? |
| This guitar is fast. Honestly, better than a Gibson and this is coming from a daddys boy rich kid who started playing guitar on a Gibson Les Paul and a Marshall Full Stack amp system at the age of 11. I was lucky. |
|
| Tone |
| Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? |
| Bright and not too much bass. |
|
| Finish |
| How did the stain or paint job look? |
| The finish is beautiful and not cheap. True wood, not plywood like my Gibson felt. Beautiful pearl inlay rosary around the sound hole and pearl dot inlays in the fretboard. |
|
| Action |
| How was the action out of the box? |
| Action is like a knife thru butter. It's fast and the strings are set perfectly against the frets with no pain to my finger tips. It's been a few years since I've played a guitar and my fingers for once, don't hurt like they used to. |
