The Tama HP900PTW Iron Cobra twin pedal is fitted with Tama's patented Power Glide cam for added speed and power.
The design idea here is that the left pedal needs to feel identical to the right. Tama achieved this by removing all unnecessary hardware and anything else that affects the transmission of power from the left pedal. The result is a smooth action and even response that will make you feel like you're playing a double bass kit.

Overall: I don't have this pedal but I tried it at a store. Im pretty fast at the double pedal I have, but when I tried this thing out it was maybe 3 times faster. If you are fast already, it isn't a problem to slow down and keep a steady slow double bass line. Yes it is very expensive but this thing is worth it. When you play it feels like you're hardly moving your foot, it's really amazing. If you play extremely fast you won't get tired and cramped like on other pedals. This is by far the best pedal ever made.
