Product Description

The Taylor 210ce-FLTD 2013 Fall Limited Acoustic Electric Guitar provides players at any level a high quality dreadnought that will sound great, look great, and hold up. This guitar from the Fall Limited Edition series has upgrades including an all-gloss body, Taylor’s Expression System electronics (normally on the 300 Series and higher), and a black hardshell case for protection. A rosewood laminate back and sides with a solid Sitka spruce top gives the dreadnought 210ce-FLTD great low-end power with snappy mids and crisp highs.

Taylor went to great length to make this guitar practical for players at every level. Working musicians will have a reliable axe that can serve as a workhorse or second guitar. Recreational Taylor players looking to play a few gigs, parties or open mics can leave their other precious Taylors at home. And budget-minded up-and-comers looking to invest in their first real guitar with aspirations of playing out can rest assured that they’ll have a guitar that feels, sounds and looks worthy of a pro.

General
Your general opinion of this product.
This was one of nearly 40 different electric acoustics I played when I decided it was time to buy my first guitar, and I fell in love with the beautiful tone, the brightness of the high strings, the depth of the low strings, the long decay on a hard strum. I just fell in love with this sound.
Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
It's a Taylor, it's beautiful, and thus far has held up to traveling with to work, to my lesson, and home, and then back to work again daily.
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
I have very large hands, so the neck on this guitar actually feels too small in places, but once I get used to it things will be fantastic.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
I've played it now both acoustic and plugged in, and the tone on this guitar is just fantastic, it was what drew me to this instrument to begin with.
Action
How was the action out of the box?
The action on this guitar is great for the newbie guitar player, I've managed to learn that dreaded F Chord within the first 72 hours because it plays so cleanly.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
Nice natural finish that is just amazing to look at.
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
No idea, I've owned her for 72 hours.
