Product Description

The Taylor 310CE Cutaway Acoustic Electric Guitar features a solid African mahogany back and sides, a gloss-finished Sitka spruce top, a comfortable Venetian cutaway, and the Taylor Expression System electronics for a clear, balanced tone. Its wood fiber binding, pearl fretboard inlays, and chrome Taylor tuners streamline the look.

The 310E typifies the Taylor experience: solid wood construction (a solid Sitka spruce top), impeccable detailing, and a clear, distinctive tone. The finish used to create this guitar’s textured satin back and sides and lustrous gloss top was developed at Taylor for maximum durability and resistance to cold-checking. Premium Taylor Hardshell case included.

Taylor Expression System Electronics
Designed to faithfully reproduce your guitar’s native tone, the Expression System utilizes patented Dynamic Sensors to capture top and string vibration like never before. Created in partnership with renowned audio pioneer, Mr. Rupert Neve, the Taylor ES is seamlessly integrated into the design of the guitar from the ground up. Onboard tone controls provide added flavor, or set flat for an uncolored, exceptionally clean amplified sound.

A Venetian cutaway adds dimension to classic Dreadnought styling, while the distinctive tone of African mahogany is faithfully amplified via the Taylor Expression System.

Taylor 310CE Woods: Sitka Spruce Top; African Mahogany Back & Sides
The warm tone and open midrange of African mahogany balances the bright and snappy characteristics of a Sitka spruce top. The resulting combination provides the perfect guitar for strong, rhythmic playing styles.

The Taylor Dreadnought Body
A traditional shape refined, Taylor combines classic dreadnought volume and bass response with their definitive sound: clear trebles and an open, airy midrange that Bob Taylor’s signature design accentuates. Dreadnoughts respond especially well to flatpicking or light-to-heavy strumming.

Satin Finish with Gloss Top
The finish used to create this guitar’s textured satin back and sides and lustrous gloss top was developed at Taylor for maximum durability and resistance to cold-checking. This ultra violet-cured finish is also more environmentally friendly than traditional lacquer finishes.

Playability and Feel
Boom Here's the one guitar to rule all guitars!!!
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
No need to respond. It was perfect right out of the box. If you maintain it like you should any guitar it will last you forever.
How has it stood up over time?
Neck stays perfectly straight keeping the guitar in tune. The only time my guitar goes out of tune is when i change strings and they are stretching out. Once they are set it's very hard to get this to go out of tune.
Your general opinion of this product.
AWESOME. Couldn't be happier. The sound is everything I could have ever wanted.
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
Everything I could ask for and more. A dream to play. I find myself playing this more than my 7 other electrics.
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
Midrange tones they can get bright but they have a lot of deeper bass tones as well. It's right in the middle but it's completely amazing. I would recommend this over ANY Martin, Breedlove or any other brand out there.
How did the stain or paint job look?
This guitar is my favorite because it's a simple mans guitar Not too flashy like some brands like to focus on. They worry about sound and craftsmanship. They nail it I have never played a Taylor I didn't like. Never played the electrics but I am sure they are awesome as well.
How was the action out of the box?
Perfect not too high to give you a workout or too low that you lose tone. Just amazing.
