Product Description

The combination of Taylor’s most traditional shape blends the richness of the solid-wood acoustic experience that begins with theTaylor310CE Acoustic Electric Guitar with Case. The 310ce’s sapele shares mahogany’s lively tonal response and, together with a gloss-finish Sitka spruce top, rings out with a brightness and clarity that give these guitars a definitive Taylor voice. Black binding flanks sapele’s ribbon-like grain, with large pearl fretboard dots adding a traditional touch. Hardshell case included.

Playability and Feel
Taylor - a true high-end guitar
Your general opinion of this product.
This Taylor guitar has an awesome sound - acoustic and plugged in. This is the least expensive a/e Taylor with solid wood, and the extra cost compared to the laminate 100 and 200 series is worth it.
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
Very well made, can find no faults in it. Only had it a few weeks, no issues yet.
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
Neck is a bit thicker and wider than the Fender CD140SCE I was using, but not overly so. Overall weight same as other dreadnoughts I have. Controls are on the top bout, out of the way but easy to get to.
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
Great sound. Not sure why some folks say Taylors are mcuh brighter, sound is full and smooth. Pickup system sets it above standard piezo systems.
How was the action out of the box?
Perfect action, intonation riht on - no need to have it set up by the shop.
How did the stain or paint job look?
How has it stood up over time?
Only had it 2-1/2 weeks, so far so good
