The Taylor 410CE dreadnought guitar boasts a back and sides of solid ovangkol, an African tonewood with olive-brown coloration, intensely varied grain, and rosewood-like tone. With its large voice the 410CE can hold its own in any situation. Its top is solid Sitka spruce, the fretboard is ebony, and the neck is tropical American mahogany.
The 410CE has a cutaway and is powered by Taylor Expression System electronics. With the Taylor ES, your guitar sounds like a real live acoustic guitar at any volume. No matter how loud you play or how hard you attack, the Taylor ES delivers the dynamic range of the guitar free of distortion. Includes Taylor Hardshell case.
The Taylor Dreadnought Body
A traditional shape refined, Taylor combines classic dreadnought volume and bass response with their definitive sound: clear trebles and an open, airy midrange that Bob Taylor’s signature design accentuates. Dreadnoughts respond especially well to flatpicking or light-to-heavy strumming.
Taylor Expression System Electronics
Designed to faithfully reproduce your guitar’s native tone, the Expression System utilizes patented Dynamic Sensors to capture top and string vibration like never before. Created in partnership with renowned audio pioneer, Mr. Rupert Neve, the Taylor ES is seamlessly integrated into the design of the guitar from the ground up. Onboard tone controls provide added flavor, or set flat for an uncolored, exceptionally clean amplified sound.
Satin Finish with a Gloss Top
The finish used to create this guitar’s textured satin back and sides and lustrous gloss top was developed at Taylor for maximum durability and resistance to cold-checking. This ultra violet-cured finish is also more environmentally friendly than traditional lacquer finishes.
Taylor 410CE Woods: Sitka Spruce Top Ovangkol Back & Sides
The quick, articulate response of Sitka spruce is combined with the warmth and sparkle of ovangkol, giving the 400 Series a tone reminiscent of rosewood, yet uniquely its own.
