TC Helicon VoiceTone Harmony G Vocal Effects Pedal

The TC Helicon VoiceTone Harmony-G is a studio quality vocal harmony and effects pedal dedicated to guitar players.
Harmony-G takes difficult programming completely out of the equation, since the guitar playing tells Harmony-G what notes to harmonize. Adaptive mixing and harmony arrangement algorithms follow the guitar and voice, and produce realistic harmonies without pre-programming. A guitar AutoMix function provides acoustic guitar players with a balanced mix of vocals, guitar and effects. The straightforward controls enable the guitarist to go further and arrange voicing and effects changes in their song by stepping through ten presets with A/B settings as you perform. VoiceTone Harmony-G also features XLR mic level I/O, guitar input and pass-thru for separate amp and guitar tuner inputs.

VoiceTone Harmony-G Features

  • Two voice 4th generation intelligent harmony
  • Separate Double effect using overdub algorithm
  • Tone switch engages adaptive Live Engineer Effects
  • 6 reverb/delay combinations – for vocal and guitar input
  • 10 presets each with A/B location
  • Harmony Arrangement algorithm listens to guitar and voice to follow your music
  • Selectable harmony voicing including unique Bass setting
  • XLR mic level I/O in stereo or mono
  • Clean, studio quality mic preamp with phantom power
  • Guitar input and pass-thru for separate amp
  • Guitar Tuner

Subject:TC Helicon hits another one out of the park!!!
Quality: This as well.
Features: This comment may be redundant but he best feature of this harmonizer is the harmony sound(s) and the ease of attaining said harmony. It is the ONLY harmonizer I've ever used that is literally plug and play. Never has any processor passed my plug and play acid test, This is a first. Factory presets are notoriously useless in my opinion. Not so with this one. If I could change anything about this product I would add more user preset store locations for custom patches and maybe dedicated pitch correction even though I haven't yet had the need for more storage.
Ease of Use: If one has any experience at all with processing equipment this unit is a "no brainer" If one has never used any kind of gear other than a guitar, amp and cable just one quick flip through the "Quick start" section of the manual and the factory presets will put them in harmony heaven. It is so simple.
Sound: I think I've pretty much covered this already. Feel free to email me if you have any questions concerning this product.
Reliability: I have had it less than a month but it is obviously a well built piece of gear and it is TC Helicon after all. I'm not worried.
Overall: If you are a singing guitarist (even just a backup vocals) in a band or a one man show - BUY IT!!! You do not yet realize that you can't live without it. I sing half of the lead vocals in a rockin' cover band. We have a female vocalist who sings the other half or more. All of my band mates were very skeptical when I showed up for rehearsal with this gadget until I started nailing all of the high harmonies with such realistic sound quality. We'd been missing some previously in many of the female vocal tunes i.e. Heart, Paramore, ect. The icing on the cake was pulling off Amiee Mann's part in the Rush tune "Time Stand Still" from their album "Hold Your Fire" I'm not female and the part is one voice so I just dialed in one voice, high octave, then cranked up the harmony volume higher than my voice and Viola! SWEET! PERFECT! BELIEVE IT!

Subject:Harmony G is Harmony A++++
Quality: Feels solidly built, runs quietly.
Features: I like everything about this unit. It sounds fantastic. The 3 part harmonies sound legitimate. I have fooled many people that have asked where I found the back up singers to join me on my recordings. In addition, it strengthens the sound of my voice when I am not using it to harmonize. The overall quality of the vocal is very much improved.
Ease of Use: Effortless to use. The small manual is easy to read and after 2 or 3 pages you will understand all you need to in order get breathtaking results.
Sound: As stated, the device sounds incredible, the voice doubler, the harmonies, the D s'er, couldn't be happier.
Reliability: I have only had mine for slightly over a month but seems well made.
Overall: I have been playing guitar for over 30 years and have been writing and recording my own stuff for over about the last 10 year. This is without a doubt the best $300 I have spent on new equipment over the last 15 years hands down! You will amaze an audience if you use this during a live show. If you record your own stuff you are crazy if you do not have one of these. I plan on investing in other TC Helicon products in the near future all because of my experience with this unit.

Subject:Too Easy!
Quality: Feels like a little tank. Too new to judge dependability, but the controls feel solid.
Features: The vocal harmony works just as advertised. I followed the quick start instructions, and was jamming solo in three part harmony. Took me all of 20 minutes to hook up microphone, PA, guitar and preamp.
Ease of Use: No brainer controls... almost too easy... trust the little instruction manual.
Sound: Very good sound. Looking forward to my first live performance.
Reliability: Brand new.
Overall: Excited about the added dimension this will add while leading praise and worship.
