| - 6 studio quality digital delay types
- Two switchable settings:
- 9 user programmable presets
- Up to 2290 ms delay time
- Audio Tapping – audio-generated tap tempo
- Modulated delay

Each of these types can be modified with a delay style – a unique feature of ND 1 Nova Delay that allows you to mix and match your delay type and style infinitely.
Both single delay and dual delay lines can be applied to any type and style using the tap tempo switch or delay time knob to determine the delay time that ranges from 1 to 2290 ms.
Three different types of modulation (light, medium and heavy) can be applied to any of the delay types – a feature originating from the legendary TC 2290 Dynamic Digital Delay processor.
The all-new Audio Tapping technology enables you to set the tempo of the delay by playing a rhythm into the pedal while holding down the tap tempo switch. You can now set the tempo of the delay using your most important asset: Your playing.
Other great ND 1 Nova Delay features include the ability to choose between ms (milliseconds) and bpm (beats per minute) readout, decide if you want spillover on individual settings and turn global tempo – where tap tempo determines delay time on user presets – on and off.

QUALITY: Here is the problem, right at the three month mark the unit quit responding. I can turn it on and the buttons work for about 2 seconds at that point NONE of the buttons/switches/controls will do anything. It seems this has happened to others as well from what I've read on-line. The process of getting this unit sent back to TC for repair or replacement, thus far, has been slow. So I am out time with the unit, money for posting it to T.C. and the general hassle of it all. Now I worry about relying on it at gigs once I do have it back. I love everything about this pedal so having it die like this really sucks. I wanted to trade up for the Time Factor and I would pay the difference but since it's been three months AMS refused that request. For the record, this unit has been stationary in a non smoking environment, treated with care, run on the included power supply etc.... Arg
FEATURES: You can set the unit to step through any number of patches f | |

QUALITY: Very nicely built piece of gear! Button, switches and knobs all seem high quality. All metal
chassis.
FEATURES: The combinations are endless. Perfect mix of sophistication with simplicity. The only thing
I would prefer are direct access memory locations. But, the more I use it, the more I realize
the manufacturers design intentions. The Audio-Tap Tempo is very cool! The manual setting
retains it's setup even when powered off - fantastic!
EASE OF USE: Very intuitive to use. Again, even though it has 9 preset locations, it's a little tricky at first using the footswitches - I'm getting there.
VALUE: I think it's priced just right. I believe it's marketed directly against the big green guy.
Here are some points to consider when comparing to big greenie...
1. The Nova will hopefully be more reliable
2. You get a display and some LEDs to let you know where you are at
3. There is a manual setting!
4. Audio |
