Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
this amp was built for the road. saves your back and you can stuff it in a bag for easy transport. Mine is going in a rack ;-)
Features
What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could?
number one is the Spectracomp. A true multi-band compressor. Finally a compressor built into an amp that keeps the highs compressed how we like it but doesn't suffocate the low end. TC has done a great job in the TubeTone as well. Not only emulating preamp tubes but also the characteristics of tubes in the power section as well. Now we can go between a "tube" or solid state sound at the flick of a switch.
Sound
How is its Tone?
clear and punchy.
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
basic black. can't go wrong.
Action
How was the action out of the box?
this amp is very simple to use. My basses have distinctly different tones and levels of output so I like the option for different presets. Lightweight too. You don't have to carry around a boat anchor to produce good solid bass anymore!
