Beyond Chorus
The doubling effect in VoiceTone D1 incorporates TC-Helicon's research into differentiating pitch-shifted voices from your lead voice to produce convincing group unison vocal effects. Single and multi-voice natural doubling styles are available including octave shifted variants, classic fixed detune effects and even a group shout for extra fun.

As Simple As Plugging In Your Mic
Gaining access to the studio quality sounds and intelligent processing of VoiceTone singles is as simple as plugging in your mic and turning the effect on. Of course, you can always change the style or the amount of effect, but you shouldn’t need to unfold the manual unless you’re making a fire.

Strong Family Genes
Each VoiceTone single shares the same genes: a clean, quiet mic preamp that rivals high-end touring mixers, a die-cast metal case, rubberized no-slip base, studio quality analog to digital conversion, and the same quality processing you’d expect from our flagship vocal processors like VoiceLive 2.

Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
Rock solid construction.
Features
What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could?
It's green. I don't like where the gain control is. I didn't even consider adjusting it before plugging it in. Apparently the guy that packages these things thought it to be funny as hell to box it up with the gain maxed out.
Ease of Use
How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be?
Easy to use as it integrate seamlessly with the other Helicon products. Quick plug and play. Didn't need to read the manual as it's a pretty simple interface.
Sound
How is the tone?
A little crispy and artificial sounding.
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
Can't tell yet.
Overall
Your general opinion of this product.
It's kinda cool. Probably more of a novelty than anything else. The double tracking isn't that convincing to me. It also needs some sort of latency compensation in it.

Very easy to use. Didn't even have to read the manual. Can be used for every song, it just makes the vocals 2x more powerful.

Tone isn't amazing but it's good. It really just depends on the type of voice you have.
