Subject:Best Harmonizer yet!
Overall:

QUALITY:
This is a very well built unit solid I have owned several other harmonizers and this one is the best yet.

FEATURES:
The Harmonies are AWESOME! I can't get over how good they sound. I wish it had bottons for removing a Harmony voice.

EASE OF USE:
It is somewhat easy, if using MIDI it is very easy. The manual is weak but they are comming out with a new one. The best way to use this is with MIDI from a keyboard. It will change the keys for you.

VALUE:
A lillte pricy but the vocal sounds help ease the price pain. It does have a small learning curve but what the heck

SOUND:
I still think this is the best harmonizer I have heard. The real trick is to use it in stereo. it really makes a diffrence. It really sounds good with a small band. Don't over use it.

Subject:Not an Eventide, but great for the $
Quality: Solid construction, and a great feel on all the controls
Features: Very very tweakable... tons of options that you will need to access to make it work perfectly... so get ready for a fairly steep learning curve.... although some of the presets will work out of the box... BTW, the included editor is a godsend... you can remotely control the unit from your DAW, and access all the options...Great feature!
Ease of Use: It's got a learning curve, but as mentioned above the editor software gives you instant access to all the options from the DAW, so you have no excuse not to get in there and muck with it.
Sound: Better than expected.. nice quality mic pre, good harmony tracking, good effects
Reliability: No issues yet... sits in the rack
Overall: Better than I expected it to be. Very nice for adding background vocals on the fly complete with effects and pitch correction. Makes my recordings better and faster.

Subject:Don't expect help from TC Helicon
Quality: The unit I purchased came with a "bug" in the software. After several contacts with TC Helicon, they state that they have decided the problem is with the software and not the hardware. They will not authorize to exchange the unit and will only forward the sorfware report to the technical staff.
Features: If all the features worked, this would be one of the best units availabe.
Ease of Use: The unit is very easy to use. It could use a better method of switching from one non-neighboring chanel to the next, during a performance.
Sound: On the chanels that work, the tone is very nice. Can't say that is the case overall
Reliability: Brand new unit came with a software defect. And TC Halicon has no fix patch for it.
Overall: Based upon the unit that I have received, very poor product for the price and lack of technical suppoert that comes with it.
