Product Description

The same detailed tone shaping possibilites as the Tech 21's RPM rackmount, but in a floor version! It is particularly useful with acoustic, electric and bass guitars, and upright bass, either direct to a mixing console or with an instrument amplifier. The Para Driver DI gives your instrument a natural warmth and presence, as if miking it through a tube pre-amp. The SansAmp circuitry eliminates the harsh, unnatural harmonics of piezo pickups, while the Drive control offers some tasteful edge - just a little or over-the-top.

A Wide Variety of Quality Sounds
Your general opinion of this product.
Well worth the money; a quality product.
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
This appears to be a very well made product. The pots are very smooth and responsive, the jacks are high quality, and the case is a quality metal.
Ease of Use
How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be?
I find this box very easy to use; however, I wish the blend knob had a yellow pointer like the others, so that it would be easier to see where the blend is currently set.
What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could?
There is an amazing array of tones to be had; it is really a tweaker's paradise. The only complaint that I have is the lack of a yellow pointer for the blend knob.
How is the tone?
I was very pleased with the surprising amount of different tones available, and I find the blend knob a very valuable asset. With the Sansamp engaged the sound is full and powerful with a very smooth compression with long sustain (smoother than any stand alone compressor that I have tried). With the Sansamp completely disengaged the sound is a very wide frequency response but still seems to retain some of the gentle compression that I like from this box.
