Tobias is reintroducing a classic – The Toby Standard IV Electric Bass Guitar. Its roots are in Micheal Tobias’ original designs that were introduced over 20 years ago and brings affordability to bassists hungry for a reflection of modern playing styles.

The Standard IV bass guitar features the classic Tobias ergonomic body shape that makes playing easy and gives a finished sound that has all the punch of an upright and clear detail of an electric. It is balanced from the first note so it can give both live and studio engineers nothing to do but sit back and listen.

The Standard IV has a solid Basswood body with a flush mount, low profile adjustable bridge. And of course it features the legendary Tobias Asymmetrical Neck profile that is a bolt-on design with recessed bolts and washers to easy adjustment access. The neck is thinner on the lower side than it is on the upper side and just as strong as standard bass necks but gives a less bulky feel.

The Toby Standard IV Electric Bass Guitar Features

  • Rosewood fingerboard with 12 inch fingerboard radius
  • Premium die-cast tuners are used for tuning stability
  • Ergonomic body shape for easy playability
  • Solid basswood body with low profile adjustable bridge
  • Legendary Tobias asymmetrical neck profile
