Its built-in adapter tube telescopes to accomodate 1 3/8 inch or 1 1/2 inch speaker sockets. The upper telescoping tube design increases safety and won't pull out. The lower center tube is a large 1 3/4 inch diameter for outstanding strength and stability. It's made of drawn aluminum tubing with a two-step anodizing finish for durable, lighweight tripod support. This stand holds 150 lbs. and is Guaranteed For Life.
