Product Description

The twin channel AC15VR guitar combo amp features a 1x12 inch VX12 Celestion custom made speaker and digital reverb. Feature tube and solid-state, vintage and modern, clean and dirty-the AC15VR combo amplifier has it all. Using the proven and popular VOX Valve Reactor (VR) circuitry, the AC15VR provides a diverse soundscape of authentic and satisfying tones from a single amp.

Play in Style
Using an old-school split-panel design, the AC15VR offers two distinct channels- Normal and Overdrive-with the Overdrive channel adding a separate Gain knob. In addition, the overdrive Style button delivers two distinctive flavours.

In Control
In addition to the Master Volume and Master Reverb, both channels of the AC15VR (Normal and Overdrive) share the same Treble and Bass tone controls. Plus the Overdrive channel features a Gain knob to add just the right amount of warmth and snarl to your sound. The 15 watt power amp feeds into a single 12 inch custom-designed Celestion speaker for attention-grabbing tone.

Back for More
The AC15VR's back panel features an external speaker jack for use with an 8 ohm extension cabinet. Using an extension cabinet will mute the internal speaker. Also provided is a jack for the optional VOX VFS2 dual footswitch, which offers hands-free channel-switching and reverb on/off action.

Playability and Feel
Killer tone clean, chime and classic rock!
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
It's sturdy and not too heavy. Nice chicken head knobs and stylin looks!
How has it stood up over time?
I've only owned it for 2 weeks, but I think it will last a long time with out any problems. I have a vox vt15 and it's taken a beating for 6 years and never let me down.
Your general opinion of this product.
I like it a lot. my son is in love with it! He is using it in his talent show with his fender blacktop plugged straight in.
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
It's easy to change channels when practicing. I'm getting the 2 channel footswitch to click between channels turn reverb on and off.
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
Really good! The clean channel is a dream, the tones I can get from that super clean, chime, even classic rock when the channel volume is cranked with hunbucker. Channel 2 has more gain, blues to classic rock. Channel 3/boost sounds good through humbuckers a little harsh through my stock strat single coils. But... I have plugged it into a my homemade cab with an 8ohm vintage30 and every channel is so awesome, channel 3 is much better. I can only imagine what this thing could do with an eq pedal! I wouldn't get this for nu metal or anything to heavy. The VT series is good for that, but AC/DC,southern rock SRV,SKA tones! It's got em!
How did the stain or paint job look?
Looks Classy, a nice addition to my sons bedroom/jamroom!
How was the action out of the box?
I imagine this amp is going to see a lot of action!
