What is your overall opinion of this product?
I use this in the studio when recording jazz tracks. It is not thunderous but gives good clear highs and is very consistent. I've had complaints about the neck not being as slick as they would like and the adjustability but it works great for me.

It's not the quality of the German model but nothing else is.

I appreciate the overall quality and feel. I like it being passive it allows me more discretion on the final mixdown
Feel
Heavy, fast, chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
Lighter than my other basses and it works fine for me.

How is the tone? Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick or thin?
Bright and snappy tone and the pickups are semi-hot and clear.

How did the stain or paint job look?
It's beautiful no imperfections great quality look

Did you get what you were expecting for the price? How does it compare to similar products in the same price range?
I got a deal bought it on sale so it's a steal compared to other basses

The action was ok out of the box but I had it adjusted to my preferences and that made a big difference
