Washburn R60BCE Acoustic Electric Resonator Guitar
The Washburn R60BCE Acoustic Electric Resonator Guitar is the result of the collaboration between Washburn and acclaimed Nashville musician Richie Owens! The R60BCE has a unique feature set that differs from most resonator guitars. The matte black finish and maple top, back and sides give the R60BCE a great look and defined tone that sounds great both unplugged and when amplified.
The round neck of the Washburn R60BCE acoustic electric resonator provides great comfort for chords, lead playing and slide playing. A venetian cutaway provides easy upper fret access. Washburn gives this resonator a unique F hole and pickguard for a distinct look. It houses the spun aluminum cone and aluminum spider bridge for great sustain and a maple and ebony tipped top saddle for added crispness.
Other features on the R60BCE resonator include a maple neck with a 20 fret rosewood fingerboard with string spacing, neck and nut width that are wider than standard, 48mm at the nut, to facilitate fingerstyle playing and fast and precise slide work. A Lace Sensor pickup with one volume and 1 tone control provides great overall balance and clarity, capturing the true essence, versatility and soul of this unique instrument.
