The Washburn WD40SCE is a dreadnought style cutaway acoustic electric guitar.
With an excellent full sound, the WD40S features a solid Alaskan sitka spruce top with flame maple back and sides. Great for any level player.

Constuction seems amazinglly sturdy with great attention to detail. I would say flawless. I think it will withstand the test of time.
Sound:
Very crisp and clear with beautiful highs and mids. The bass is just right for me but nor extremely low. Overall great tonal balance

Only had this fir a month but like I said seems like it will hold up well

Beautiful well made guitar with superb sound and a great finish
Playability and Feel:
To me the feel of it is just right. It plays great. I don't have large hands or long fingers. I would compare it to an ES -137. Very comforable
Tone:
Sounds great unplugged. Bright and clear. Lows sound nice but not extremely bassy. Plugged in also sounds awesome. No complaints on the Fishman elctronics. Lots of adjusments to shape the sound included
Finish:
You can't get it any better!
Action:
This was the only thing I was not crazy about. I'm used to extremely low action on an electric guitar and this was set a but higher than I would prefer. It feels great on the first thru fifth fret and then a bit higher than I want up the neck. (but still very playable) they do include different size bone saddles that I can lower it with. I didn't want to do that until I change the strings. That will make it absolutely perfect.
