Windows XP with SP2
It is highly recommended for Windows XP SP2 users to follow these steps
before installing their Waves bundle.
- Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only:
- Right-Click on the ‘My Computer’ icon and choose Properties.
- Go to ‘Advanced’ Tab.
- In the ‘Performance’ box click on ‘Settings’, go to the ‘Data Execution Prevention’ Tab.
- Choose "Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only".
- Hit Apply, hit OK.
If this option is already selected please leave it this way.
Update your Windows drivers:
Please download the windows driver installer 5.2.0.2208.
Please install the driver and restart your computer
once the installation is completed.
