The Yamaha DTX700 electronic drum module offers a refined user interface delivering a faster access to advanced functions. The DTX700 packs 1,268 drum sounds, powerful DSP effects and 128 keyboard/melodic sounds drawn from the flagship MOTIF-XF synthesizer workstation. Additionally, drummers can import their favorite audio samples into the 64MB of Flash-ROM for customizing the sound set. The DTX700 electronic drum module includes 2 USB ports for expansion and connectivity, one USB port for storing and loading files, and a USB-to-Host port for sending MIDI in and out, perfect for today’s modern drummer.

The DTX700 is packed with features designed to improve your playing skills. Those include 44 different practice songs, advanced metronome functions, real time recording, Groove Check function and the Rhythm Gate Function. The popular Groove Check that displays whether you are playing early or late, so you can more easily correct undesirable habits. Rhythm Gate is like a drumming game that automatically mutes the sound if you playing is too far out of time, so you quickly learn to control your groove and play in the pocket.

Easy Computer Connection
A single USB cable (sold separately) is all you need to connect the DTX700 to a computer. Using the supplied Cubase AI DAW software, you can create professional quality music. Install the DTX700 Extension application and you can even control Cubase functions directly from the front panel, speeding up music production. *A downloadable USB-MIDI Driver is required to connect the DTX700 to a computer.
