(Some pianos automatically check the polarity so plug it in B4 U turn keys on.=) Ease of Use: Does what it was intended to do! The 1/4" cord is long enough to use in a standing postion. No catching or clicking like some other pedals I have used when activated. Sound: no noise added to the k-board and makes no noise when activated! Action: Plug and play- although if you have a problem with it not working properly you may/will need to change the polarity of your piano.
