| It seems to be well made. It's light but sturdy. The leather case is a plus and I can see myself using this for years. | | Features:
| It's small, easy to use and I like the USB setup. | | Ease of Use:
| Very easy to use. A quick glance at the manual and I was recording within minutes of taking it out of the box. | | Sound:
| When using headphones or plugged into my system, it sounds great.
The built in mics are fine and I haven't had to use my Sony stereo mic yet. I don't understand those reviewers who have issues with the built in mics unless they're referring to the built in speaker which is about the size of a dime...'nuff said. | | Reliability:
| No issues after a month of use. | | Overall:
| I have had this for about a month now and have absolutely no complaints. I've recorded several of our gigs and rehearsals and uploaded to my PC(in real time) and have only had to recharge the battery once. | | Do you own this product?:

| | | Subject: | Small is Beautiful | | Quality:
| Very well made esp. considering the tiny size. | | Features:
| the best feature is it is tiny and self contained, memory and USB connector are built in so nothing to forget or lose. Keep it in your shirt pocket and take it everywhere, you're always ready to record. The second best feature is I can be recording in 5 seconds. It remembers the settings from the last recording, so just power on, hit record twice (once to arm, one to release from pause) and you're rolling. | | Ease of Use:
| The simple feature set makes the unit very easy to use. There are a few menus to navigate when you first set it up, after that you'll seldom need to go back to them (certainly not when recording!). Much easier than to record with than Edirol and Zoom recorders I have used. | | Sound:
| The built in mikes are obviously the weak link in the sound, but OK for recording rehearsals and gigs for personal reference. Use better mikes or a patch into a mixer output and you get excellent 16 bit sound. The built in speaker lets you confirm you recorded OK, nice touch...most recorders don't have this yet. | | Reliability:
| I have had no issues after 9 months of use, taking it into bars to record my gigs. | | Overall:
| Fantastic. It lacks the extra features of other brands but who cares, I just want to record gigs and rehearsals with minimum fuss and it does this perfectly. I used to record on minidiscs and this is the first memory based recorder to come out that wasn't bigger and had decent battery life. I bought it when it first came on the market, now it's selling for about half the price I paid making it an even better bargain. I gladly traded features like multitrack recording, surround recording, XLR inputs, 24 bit recording and better mikes for the extreme portability. | | Do you own this product?:
