Subject:Yamaha PSRE413
Quality: This thing is a monster! As far as dependability, no problems here.
Features: Probably the symphony sounds. As far as additional features, I think a MIDI IN/OUT would be cool.
Ease of Use: Let me put it this way. Whether you're a parent looking to get your kid their first instrument or you're a pro looking for something that's functional and gets the job done time after time, you can't go wrong with this unit.As with most keyboards, you can pretty much just turn them on and go. If you want to learn about all the little cool things it does, you can look through the manual. It's pretty straight-forward and it doesn't try to confuse you.
Sound: It's a Yamaha PSR! That speaks for itself.
Action: Great.
Value: Definately.
Do you own this product?: Absolutley.

Subject:Pleasantly Surprised!!!
Quality: The quality is great for the price. I am 46 and had to let go of my keyboards when reactivated for first Gulf War mess, and my how things change for the better! I was/am quite familiar with MIDI, with last board I owned was a Sequential Circuits Prophet 5 MIDI-converted.
Features: USB connectivity,envelope/filter controls, and the quasi-Workstation features as in the 6-track sequencer were the selling points for me AND the Easy 3 Payment Plan--customer for life here! I still gave it a 5 even though I think it is kinda s****y that a keyboard such as this does not come with a power cord OR a USB cord. I pulled the one off my out of ink printer for now. Back in the 80's, these things came with products, even the old DX7's came with a power cord. Kinda like buying a car but not getting the gas tank, my opinion echos others on this one! I would have liked a USB to load direct flash memory as well, but thinking this can be done through the PC interface, still readng...
Ease of Use: I am still absorbing the manual for advanced features but right out of the box easy. My laptop is pretty new, with Windows Vista Home Premium Edition--no problems installing software at all.
Sound: Tone is impressive!
Action: Action is good feeling for this kind of board, with the velocity being nicely responsive. The Portable Grand is awesome!
Value: Back in 1989, one would have had to spend a few thousand $$ for all the features this has.
Do you own this product?: Yes, arrived today!

Subject:Quality, Value and Features!!!!
Quality: This keyboard is very well made. Compared with similar personal keyboards from other makers, Yamahas are better. I am confident this will translate into many years of use.
Features: The many quality sounds, arpeggiator and the effects controls are what helped me choose the PSR-E413.
Ease of Use: Controls are arranged and operate in a very logical manner. This simplifies use and has allowed us to quickly start to play the instrument. The manual covers all the controls and is decent.
Sound: The sounds are great. The speakers are adequate for a small room. The stereo headphone/output offers the flexibility of private listening or performance power.
Action: The keyboard, buttons and knobs all operated smoothly. The variable touch keys have great feel.
Value: For less than half the price, the Yamaha PSR-E413 has almost the same features as the Roland E09. A great value for an amateur musician.

Subject:Nice board for the price!
Quality: Seems to be well constructed. Doesn't feel like a cheep piece of plastic.
Features: For the price, this board has some awesome features. I've had a Roland XP50 Workstation for years and this board will do some of the same things for a whole lot less. Nice PC connection feature.
Ease of Use: Playing is pretty simple. Recording using the sequencer is a little tricky. You will need to read the manual to be able to use all the features.
Sound: The sound is good. Not quite workstation quality, but good for the price.
Action: Pretty much standard for this type of board.
Value: I think this board offers quite a bit for the price. Nice starter piece but can also be used as part of an ensemble.
