The Zildjian ZPB Pitch Black Splash delivers a loud, short accent. A powerhouse of a splash, this cymbal is perfect for cutting through a mix with a sharp musical tone.
The formidable sound and look of Rock at its absolute best. Pitch Black cymbals were specifically designed to be coated and played loud! Zildjian started with their high performance Bronze 12 Alloy with its enhanced tin content and added weights, sizes and profiles guaranteed to deliver the brightness and presence required for Rock applications. They then developed a proprietary coating process which allows the cymbal to be durable and strikingly beautiful yet still open up like a cymbal should.
Pitch black and rock solid, the Evans Onyx 2 Ply Drum Head is a combination of a new aesthetic, and appealing sound and look for tom and snare drums.
Created with the original intent of developing a black alternative to the standard G2 Clear and Coated drum heads, the Onyx features two plies of 7.5 mil film that deliver enhanced durability while making the drums cut live. A micro-clear coating gives the Onyx a matte black appearance, producing more low-end and a punchier attack.
Tired of drumsticks that split, crack and splinter? Carbosticks are the answer!
Carbosticks are made of a unique patented carbon fiber compound with many desired wood characteristics – including feel, sound, weight and balance – but Carbosticks last three to eight times longer! Not only that, but they are specially manufactured to wick away perspiration, resist abrasion and be unaffected by changes in temperature and humidity.
The company uses a color code system to distinguish between the models’ Fulcrum weight (balance point). The red labels are weighted more towards the back of the stick, giving them a lighter feel and response, most appropriate for playing jazz and pop music. Carbosticks classified by white labels are weighted more toward the shoulder and front of the sticks, giving them a heavier response for playing rock music and louder, harder rhythms.
