| I haven't had it long enough actually to rate this yet. | | Overall:
| Can't beat the price for the features. Outstanding value for FX of this quality. I originally hooked it up to a Gibson flatop thru a mixer on a computer with the PC speakers (small sub), & it rocked thru that. | | Playability and Feel:
| Controlls are super east to turn, almost too easy. Pedal is tight. If I had a complaint at all, it'd be the size of the letters. They're kinda small for my weak eyes to see, but there's also alot there to cram in a small space. | | Tone:
| The tone can be clean to crunchy. Depending on what you want. Big variety of sounds. You can play with this all day. And if you get too far out of bounds, you can always default it back to original & start over again. | | Finish:
| Looks good, small letters though. | | Action:

QUALITY: THIS DOES NOT HAVE A METAL HOUSING AS STATED IN OTHER REVIEWS. The housing is made of plastic, but it is strong.
FEATURES: Tons of features and the instruction manual is easy to follow....it's only like 10 pages!
EASE OF USE: Easy to use...just play around with it for a few days with the instructions in hand.
VALUE: Priced very low for the features and sounds that you get.
SOUND: I have yet to find a better processor for the price. I love the distortions on Zooms, I can't find better ones anywhere....and believe me I've tried.

QUALITY: Metal case, I thought it would be plastic, but it's sturdy.
FEATURES: Great sound live and recorded. I had a Zoom 9000, but couldn't get a good live sound. This is real quick and quiet. Really easy to program too. It's like intuitive!
EASE OF USE: User friendly operation, a couple preset changes I'm like an old pro at it, but the sounds are so cool you'd rather play than program it.
VALUE: I think I got the same chip as the g2 for less than half the price, there are some really good boxes out there but dollar for dollar, this one's a keeper!
SOUND: Played by itself through a Marshall MG30dfx, no on board effects used, clean channel with strat, tele, sg, les paul, dot, casino, all great. I finally got close to a Robin Trower sound.

EASE OF USE: Good directions, easy to follow and can use it right out of the box while learning
VALUE: I paid $79 and at this price was very satisfied
SOUND: Cant buy these sounds in a amp at this price

QUALITY: Should last at least 5 years like my Zoom 505 II.
FEATURES: Unlike the 505 II, this unit includes a power supply. The biggest drawback is that there is no separate line-level output. They keep the output level low enough for headphones but this level is very weak for a direct box to a mixing console.
EASE OF USE: Very easy but not identical to the 505 II so there is a small learning curve.
VALUE: Excellent value.
SOUND: My 505 II actually sounds better than this pedal. It seems to me that they rolled off the high frequencies to achieve the 110dB SNR. I expected better sound, not worse. |
