Subject:RX1202 Packs 12 Channels, 8 Pre's and 100 FX in 3R
Overall:

QUALITY:
I ordered two of these. The first one I recieved shipped with screws loose. AMS promptly replaced it and the second one works fine.

FEATURES:
This mixer has 8 mic pres in a rack mount unit. Very convenient without taking up precious desktop space.

EASE OF USE:
The mixer is very easy to use.

VALUE:
This is a good value for the money. There are few other rackmount mixer with as many features in this price range. And for the few that there are, they are more expensive.

SOUND:
I only use the mixer for keyboard monitoring and vocal talk back, but it sounds great.

Subject:Nice & Inexpensive
Quality: As i said above, it seems to be pretty well made & durable.
Features: Price. You won't be able to find a sub-mixer with 8 XLR inputs for cheaper. Usually they have 4 or 6 and then some 1/4 inch jacks. the others with XLR inputs are much more expensive. It's also very light.
Ease of Use: Typical set up for a mixer, pretty easy to figure out.
Sound: Clean and true.
Reliability: Haven't had it very long, but it looks pretty solid.
Overall: Good piece for the price. Clean sound, good quality. I'm quite happy with it.

Sound:
Subject:Good Sub-mixer
Quality: The knobs are quite cheaper than the mackie knobs as far as the plastic goes but otherwise, the sliders are fine and it has withstood a pretty good beating from general use.
Features: The effects are not too bad. I don't really use them too much. The channel mix is really basic and could use more EQ settings.
Ease of Use: It's really very basic to use. I use mine as a sub-mixer for drum mics or as a line mixer for acoustic guitars.
Sound: It sounds OK. I don't notice any extraneous noise from the channel on my Mackie that this unit is plugged in to. As I said, the channels on this unit could use more EQ settings but what do you want for 200 bucks?
Reliability: I've been using mine for a couple of years with no problem. I have it mounted in a gator case with a Mackie mixer on top and this mixer in the front and it gets bounced around occasionally moving it from gig to rehearsal space and back. So far it has stood up as well as the Mackie.
Overall: For the price, this gives me 8 more mic pre-amps or additional lines into my PA set up which is great for the money.
