Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Overall quality is great except that the pads a very stiff, i expected them to be little softer but that is not a huge problem for me. Can't tell how dependable it is because i have it for less then two weeks. Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could? Probably the best feature for me is its size. I have a midsized room so i needed something compact that i can fit on my table with my synth. Also i very much like the LCD screen, just wished it would be slightly bigger. Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be? Manual that comes with it pretty much explains everything down to the detail, but if you are not familiar with MPC line (like me) than it might take sometime. Sound How is its Tone? The quality you put in is what you get back, that simple. Action How was the action out of the box? Value Was this item an overall good value? I saw this product at the other website about $60 cheaper so i requested a price match and i got it, but still a would say it could be under $900.

What features would you add to this product if you could? I like being able to sample a small part of an orchestra and then be able to play it on all 16 pads in different pitches!! How playable do you consider this product to be? There is a small learning curve to be able to do most of the stuff on this thing, BUT as far as playing it out of the box it was easy to do! Sound How is its Tone? sounds just like all of those old hip hop tunes! Action How was the action out of the box? feels professional!! Value Was this item an overall good value? iT IS A GOOD PRICE FOR WHAT YOU GET, BUT IF i HAD THE CASH ALL AT ONCE i WOULD BUY USED AND SAVE A FEW HUNDRED, i DO ams PAYMENT PLANS!

Love the feel of the pads. Can't pick one feature, there's not one I don't love. Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be? Doesn't take long 2 learn alot about the product. Simple 2 use with any other unit, and the manual answers any questions u may have. Simple. No gripes with the playability. Sound How is its Tone? Awesome. Put in good sounds, get good sounds back. Quality not an issue. U get what u give. Action How was the action out of the box? Plug it in and start playin' around immediately. Throw ya some samples on there outta the gate. Value Was this item an overall good value? I think the the value was well worth what you can get out of this product.

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? This this is tough as a tank and small enough to travel with. Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could? My favorite feature is the USB connectivity. This allows you to sample on the computer and get the sounds the way you want them and then drag and drop your sounds right onto the memory card (or hard drive if you install it). Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be? There's a bit of a learning curve, but you will figure this machine out with time. The manual is pretty good and clear enough to have you programming stuff right out of the box. Sound How is its Tone? The sound of this MPC is very clean. It is not like the older models which do provide a little more punch on sounds. What you put in is what you will get out. So don't expect to sample a flimsy drum sound and for it to miraculously sound better. Craft your sounds in the computer or whatever else prior to dropping them in the MPC. Action How was the action out of the box? I bought my MPC prior to the pad fix and to be honest I had some pad issues, but the new ones don't need the pads replaced. Other than that it's a great item. After seeing the MPC5000 freeze up every single time I tried it in the store, the 1000 is a dream. Plus you can upgrade it so much. For example, an internal hard drive, alternate colored screens pads and buttons (if you're into that) This is the MPC to get...I truly think its one the last good models. Value Was this item an overall good value? Considering that when I started producing I could not afford an mpc and when this came out it was half the price with almost twice the features, it was a no brainer.
