Perfect for controlling drums via midi
Quality:
This is a very solid controller. It should last a long time if taken care of. The only downside I could see would be the lcd getting hit with something.
Features:
For a drum setup, this is perfect. 16 velocity and pressure sensitive pads. 8 knobs for value changes. 6 faders and transport controls all work very well. Can assign each one individually as needed. Usb powered through the computer or you can get power supply.
Ease of Use:
This does take a little getting used to. Used with Reason 4.0 it rocks. I'd recommend making sure to print out the factory control sheet off of the cd it comes with. Makes using it in Reason a breeze. Once familiar with it there is no other controller this simple and intuitive.
Value:
For the price I haven't seen anything that comes close to this. Great alternative to using a keyboard setup.
Appearance:
Pretty cool actually and very functional. Nice bright blue lcd is easy to see and edit.
