Once I got it hooked up to do what I wanted it to do it operated fine.I got it to be the drum trigger for my studio.I use BFD eco as my drum sounds, real drum sounds.The midi was a bit tricky at first but it does well as a stand alone trigger/controller.You will need the adapter sold separately if you want to use it as`a stand alone controller.The USB does not give it enough power. Value Was this item an overall good value? I was going for the MPD34 since i never had either one of these I got this one the price was right.I can live with out the few bells and knobs the come on the 34.
