Hands down the best vocal mic I have ever used in my 50 years of performing and I have used them all. It redefines clarity and smoothness. This beauty shines in every category. AKG got it going on brother. I have used AKG in the past but this one has something special. It just looks and sounds like a mic should. Shure? A distant second!

Great mic! My AKG 5D Professional Cardioid Dynamic Vocal Microphone, is just what I expected it to be, my product arrived in a timely, manner and the price is great for such Crystal clarity in a microphone production, I have always enjoyed AKG products, thanks for the opportunity, to voice my opinion.

For live gigs excellent for female vocals! We have tried others but at this point the singer doesn't want to use any other mic because this is the one that "sounds like her voice". Very durable, absolutely no handling noise, almost never any feedback.

Feels very solid and looks great. Nice soft zippered bag to keep it protected.
Great sounding, good looking microphone. Wish it had the on/off switch at this price.
Plug and play.
Tone is outstanding. The extended highs sound sweet and clear, not harsh at all. Cuts through the mix without feedback.
