| So far, so good, solid....had M20's for years....still love them, built like a tank...but the hd24 is the perfect solution to have a dedicated hard drive recorder - I do not want to rely on a laptop.
I dump it into SONAR via firewire and I'm off and running for mixing and editing.... |

| 24 tracks of 24/48 in one box is the seller...and the converters are quite good in these units...big bang for the buck. A regular 'exit' button would have been nice and not having to reset the rec track buttons after stopping in song mode would have made sense....but small gripes really... |

| You can get up and running on this unit in no time....manual is OK...but read it, there are good tips to be aware of for smooth sailing. |

| Sonically its great....just make sure your source is top notch to begin with because garbage in, garbage out ! |

| The right box for me....I have great mixers/pres/cables/mics etc...so I didn't need all the bells and whistles of another unit.
I'm happy with the purchase. IDE drives are sooo cheap now. Stock up on them! |
