Overall Your general opinion of this product. I like the DM6 - great entry-level electronic kit. Not for professional or even semi-pro use. You won't want to bring this thing on stage. It lacks in pad sensitivity (some missed beats on the hi-hat every now and then when playing quietly). Dual zone pad used for the snare is too quiet, no matter how much you adjust it's individual volume. You really need to bring the rest of the kit down considerably to get a good snare mix. Value Was this item an overall good value? Value is unbeatable (especially through AMS) for what you get for the money. If I wanted anything other than an entry-level practice kit I would have spent much more. Appearance Appearance Looks very nice. Fits anywhere. This drum set is pretty study, yet its light enough so I can move it around if I need too. you can rotate the arms, but that doesnt mean they are wobbly...theres a bolt to tighten the arms to the preferred angle. I love music but when my boyfriend cant sleep at 3am and I have work I can sleep in peace while he plays quietly. Sound How is the tone? Ya get what you pay for, and for the price and the quality of the materials used (especialy the pedals), im sorry you just cant beat what else is out there. This ain't no guitar hero kit!!!! If you are a serious drummer save up for a better quality set. This is definitely worth the price though. Sound How is the tone? These drums give off a pretty good sound, but it is limited. With acoustic drums it is possible to find the exact sound you are looking for, where this has a set selection for drummers to choose from. Value Was this item an overall good value? The DM6 is worth the cost. The only real problems that I found was that they were oversensitive and the hi hat pedal was not how I would have liked it. The hi hat is either all the way open or completely closed. I would have liked some more play with the pedal. Also there are not any additional ports for adding to the set.

For recording purposes the tone is very good once you tweak in your parameters. Value Was this item an overall good value? At 409.00 the set delivers well beyond the expense.

I upgraded the firmware (which you can do via usb cable) and it seems to have helped a good bit. Sound How is the tone? There are plently of pre-programmed sets to choose from and they all sound fantastic. I've recorded some tracks on my PC and the sound is fantastic. Value Was this item an overall good value? I shopped around and compared with similiar sets and the price on American Musical was the best around.

How dependable? you get alot of fun for what you pay for. some cut out but if you learn the sweet spots it is perfect. an upgrade in symbols would complete.I mean lets get real if you need to fill a stadium with sound then you probably would be starring at a different set right now with a bigger dollar sign. its got quality worth. Sound How is the tone? The sounds are very natural in head phones. A good quality sound system would be ideal for jammin with friends.
