Clear reproduction, but not the whole package.
Quality:
Seems sturdy enough to be, but like I mentioned earlier: only had it 1 day.
Features:
Nice compact design. Blue power light is slightly blinding. Frequency response stops at 80hz but it seems more like 120hz.
Ease of Use:
Very easy to set up. Plug this in, plug that in. Done.
Sound:
Great for hi-lows, mids, and highs, but the lack of real low frequency response is a deal breaker. Everything else is very clear.
Reliability:
Only had it 1 day before I returned it. Just not enough bass.
Overall:
Good at reproducing what it can, but nowhere near enough bass. You don't need explosive wall-shaking bass for any accurate music production, but this much lack of bass negatively effects any type of music.

Best for the Buck!
Quality:
These are solid! Time will determine their dependability. Great so far!!!
Features:
Ease of use, multiple inputs, front headphone jack, small yet powerful. Great, clean sound; only the sound that was meant to be heard. The only drawback I found was the length of the cable that connects the left and right speakers; too short. I run 2 22-inch video monitors and the speakers barely clear the width of the two monitors side-by-side. That cable could be a little longer. Optional (or add-on) felt or rubber feet would have been good to include for use on a desk.
Ease of Use:
The Alesis M1 320s are easy to setup and use. It only took a few minutes to setup and get operational. No additional drivers are needed.
Sound:
Clean, clean, clean…Tone is controlled through the computer, so no external tone controls. I had no problem with the setup of the monitors and played around with the bass settings until I got the perfect sound for me. You will not get a “big” bass sound as if you would with a subwoofer, but it is representative of what is being played. If you intend on using these for entertainment, you may want to experiment with a sub; I haven’t done that yet. The volume is controlled externally, as well as from the computer. Turn it to max (without music of course) and there is NO hiss… absolutely NO hiss. Try this with regular computer monitors and hiss is all you get. I like that there is a headphone jack on the front of the control monitor (right one), which is also controlled by the volume pot. I will say it again… Clean, clean, clean.
Reliability:
I have had them in use for only a few weeks, but all is well. As mentioned in some other reviews; time will tell. They are quite solid!
Overall:
As stated in the subject line, "Best for the Buck." Great, clean sound for small monitors.

They are really good
Quality:
I used to mix on some old Kenwood stereo system which was crapy and i needed a cheap solution for mixing. after i bought these my mixes sound ten times better. these are indeed reference monitors. not much low end response but if you listen to professional recordings on these you will get a better idea of how to mix your bass in your tracks.
Features:
dont really use the usb feature to much but im sure it works great for other people
Ease of Use:
fairly easy to use.
Sound:
like i said before the sound is great. very flat and very accurate. these have improved my the quality of my mixes. if your looking for something loud then dont buy these they arent loud and they arent really meant to be loud.
Reliability:
had um for about three weeks and i dont see them breaking anytime soon
Overall:
Money well spent. im not rich so i need bang for my buck and thats what i got.
