Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? The speakers are pretty heavy for there size they felt very solid as i was setting them up and getting them positioned. I imagine as with everything if i take good care of these they will sound like they do new for many years. Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could? The filter switches on the back so that you can modify the sound to fit your needs wherever you place the speakers, with or without sub you can find a good sound. Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be? Very easy to use and configure with the variable switches on the back. Sound How is the tone? The tone is very crisp, clear, and detailed. These will definitely improve my mixes, no doubt. Reliability How has it stood up over time? Not sure yet ive only had them for a day so but I have much experience with monitors and sound systems and I feel they will last. General Your general opinion of this product. I am very impressed with these they have very low noise and give the music decent space, you can hear many panning positions within, not just R L or Center. The mid-range is detailed and crisp, Ive just tested them out with a variety of music Rock to dance and they sound quite accurate.
Great monitors for the price

Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be? The monitors are truly "plug and play" and certainly easy to use. Sound How is the tone? The sound is very good. I used the switches in the back to boost the bass and cut back on the high end and mid range slightly. Perfect to use while playing my Yamaha synth. Reliability How has it stood up over time? General Your general opinion of this product. For the money, it is tough to find a better sounding set of powered monitors. My only issue is the amount of hiss that can be heard while the monitors are powered on and waiting for something to play. Again, when placed against the low cost of these speakers, the hiss is not a huge issue.
Ideal for my use

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Very reliable company and from what I see, the speakers are well made. Time will determine the dependability, but so far they rock. Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could? Price is my first thought on the best features list. But they are solid speakers, and their size belies their punch. I do mainly voice over and the M1 suits me perfectly, and it fits on my desktop. Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be? Having used other studio monitors, these were right out of the box easy to use. Didn't really need the manual, but referred to it anyway. It was complete and it did not read like a riddle. I am not a sophisticated reader, so I appreciated its thoroughness without making me feel dumb. Sound How is the tone? For my purposes it is very honest. I quit NS10s years ago. This is a step forward for me. Reliability How has it stood up over time? The M1 is built very solid. I appreciate that because I can be rather inept. General Your general opinion of this product. For the output of cash, I can't imagine anything better.
