The pictures does this baby no justice! It is not cheaply constructed of feel toyish. Got some weight too.

The functions are well thought out on a small package with so few tweakable available gadgets. I would have liked more knobs but that may congest the units control panel to were it may become bothersome.

A little homework by reading the manual will be beneficial, But once you figure out how to navigate your way around, You'll be up and running in no time!

Rich and thick and warm. Fuzzy and buzzy and all the other good stuff you might expect from a analog modeling synth!

Although I have the Korg Micro, And I do like the Korg, The Alesis micron has it beat hands down. Plus at the price you can buy the micron for now, Its a no brainer! The sounds are just incredible.

This small keyboard does a lot. So it is a giant in terms of usefulness. I use it as a master keyboard, a drum /rhythm sequencer and as a midi slave to a guitar interface.Desite only having three octaves, you can change your range with the push of a button for a higher or lower octave.The selection of sounds is plentiful. It will take me a long time to exhaust all the sound options.It is nice and light and can be carried easily for gigs if necessary.It was one of my impulse purchases that really was correct.

Easy to use.It it fits with other non alessis products well.Manual was well writen in English. light action yields fast easy playability,and manipulation.
