Buying a 2nd One!
Quality:
This is a very durable machine! I learned with some cheaper and smaller single speaker amps that I've taken to Mexico before that you don't want to roll it over some of the cobblestone roads and terrain of Mexico, but if it's relatively smooth - there's no problem at all. It's not that heavy if you need to carry it. And the telescoping handle is strong enough that you can carry it using that handle, too.
Features:
Great battery for use when electricity isn't available! Our church used this on our mission trip to south Mexico and when we don't have a power source available, this works like a charm! It also charges my iPhone when I take it back to my hotel room in the evenings. I left it there for them to use as they need and now I want to replace it back here in the states.
Ease of Use:
This is as easy as it gets! You really can't succeed in using this device!
Sound:
It's tonal quality is very good for a device such as this. I have used it for playing accompaniment tracks from my iPhone or other sound device (portable CD player) while singing with it, and it works wonderfully!
Value:
This is a great price. I bought my first one from another source for $100 more, so I'm excited about saving that $100 this time around. Already, I've got someone who wants to borrow it for a wedding that will be out in the country where it would be difficult to run an extension cord. So I hope they come in in time...

Seems very well made. Only time will tell...
Features:
I bought this so that I can practice my vocals to music. It really did a great job at achieving that. It is SO easy to transport and it really sounds great. I can't be happier with this purchase.
Ease of Use:
Simple simple simple
Sound:
The sound is really great. I would not use if for a rehearsal with all the instruments playing through amps, but doing just a guitar, vocals and practicing, it is perfect!
Value:
I think the value was pretty good. However, I always shop around to get the best price. 9 out of 10 times, AMS has the best price. If they didn't, just let them know and they will make sure they do!

Real World Review
Quality:
Seems indestructible. Very solid construction. The battery life is amazing. My wireless mics work great through this unit, and getting feedback was virtually impossible.
Features:
This unit is built tough, with top quality components and precision. I am a mobile DJ, and bought this unit to use to do trivia and music in small restraunts and bars. I was worried that it wouldn't be loud enough (it was!), or that it wouldn't be built as well as other brands I have used, but this unit is rock solid. If I could change a couple of things on this unit, I would put an extra power plug on the back of the unit so that I could run my wireless mic without needing a power outlet (location of power outlets can be problematic in my line of work, as you don't want extension cords tripping customers or waitresses), and I would put a locking device on the mount hole for the speaker stand so the speaker is more secure when mounted. The retractable handle is handy, but does feel flimsy.
Ease of Use:
It couldn't get any easier to use. All of the controls are located and labeled clearly.
Sound:
The sound is the best part. It sounds incredible, and it has plenty of volume. For those interested, since nobody seems to want to print it anywhere, this unit is a big 50 watts. I had to call Alesis to confirm this, as nobody published this anywhere. The corded mic included is adequate, but tinny.
Value:
Great Value. LOTS of bang for the buck.

two in a row faulty
Quality:
We purchased an Alesis Transactive Mobile PA System from AMS last week. The third green LED indicating full battery stayed off, and the Charge indicator LED never would come on, after being plugged in overnight and part of a day.
We contacted AMS Tech Support, described our actions, and the results, and were advised it was faulty, so they issued a return authorization. Very helpful and professional and kind.
We ordered a replacement, and returned the faulty unit for a refund.
We just got the replacement, and it has exactly the same issue. Again called AMS Tech Support, again described our actions and the results, and again advised it is a faulty unit.
Awaiting response from Alesis advising us what to do. Our group leaves in ten days for a five week tour in Europe, and they need a reliable unit... this apparently isn't it.
Ease of Use:
very easy to use, if only the charging system worked.
Sound:
impressively good sound for such a small, low power unit.
Do you own this product?:
yes, but not for long... two in a row faulty.
