Features, dependabilty and value, all in one
Quality:
So far it performs well but I have only had it for about 4 months. It looks solid and I'm not expecting any problems.
Features:
I wanted a powered mixer with at least 16 XLR inputs and 500W/channel at 8 ohms. After carefull review, this was really the only one that fit the bill. It's solidly built and has all the inputs you should need for a small to medium sized venue. In addition, the controls are easy to use and the sound is great. The only detriment I find is a lack of a built-in sound compressor.
Ease of Use:
Easy to use and the manual is relatively good.
Sound:
It doesn't add or subtract from the input source unless you want it to. There is a decent multi channel equilizer on the inputs and on the amp section so you can make adjustments as you see fit.
Value:
Since I am using it for gigs, I'd rate it as a 9 out of 10. Although it has a carry handle, at around 50 lbs., it really is a lot to haul around. After searching, I couldn't find a travel case for it, so I had one made with wheels on it. If you were to install this unit in a permanent location, it would be the best scenario IMO.
