Built like a tank. The knobs 'feel' good, the faders are steady, the appearance is great.
Features
What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could?
The 6 aux sends are awsome. For me it means 4 monitor mixes, 1 effects (built in FX are great), and 1 aux for my subs. Outstanding.

I've only had this mixer for a couple of months, but it seems to be well made. Mine is mounted in a SKB gig rig. had it out a couple of times with no issues.

To me, the best feature is the way it sounds, I know there is another section about sound, but this thing sounds so sweet and clear it will bring tears to your eyes. It's amazing that so much is packed int a rack mountable frame.

A & H makes fantastic mixers. This thing is quite well put together. You will be very hard-pressed to find a better mixer without forking up 2.5 to 3 times the price or more.

What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could?
I will spare the chat about the all of the features. It's listed quite well in the product description. I bought this mixer in large part because of its massive amount of basic and unique features. Another huge selling point for me is the separate pcb boards on each channel. If one happens to crap out, you can pull it for repair and still have 15 channels to work with. This ROCKS over pulling a huge, all-in-one pcb board and being left with NO mixer until you get it back. In short, way more features than most mixers anywhere near its price point.

As with any mixer, you need to know at least a little before attempting to operate. The MW3 is pretty straight forward though. Took me about 20 minutes to dial in the entire 5 piece band. Took me another 2 days of minor tweaks to perfect it. That by just skimming through the manual. Easy enough? I think so!

The pre amps are amazingly warm. I like it more than the older Mackie pre's. Not necessarily better pre's but definitely warmer sounding. The built-in effects are nice enough. Not as good as a dedicated rack piece of decent quality but more than adequate for most needs. But be advised, a mixer will not save you, sound-wise, if you do not know how to properly set it up. Garbage in, garbage out. Set it up properly and you will be well rewarded with ear candy goodness.

I am fairly certain this thing will be ticking for quite a while. I have never owned an A & H before but I have used more than a few. Never seen one crap out. But I'm sure, like anything else, some do. I'm not really worried about it. With A & H's stellar reputation, the odds are heavily in my favor.

I can not say enough positive things about this board. It handles all of our needs with routing options to spare. As if the routing options were not enough as shipped, it has configurable jumpers for the not-so-standard setup situations.

Good quality, this is used for vocals for a tv show, and doesnt miss a thing even with the low signal strength of the wireless mics.
