Love my Alvarez D30!
I believe it to be the best value in guitar.
As for being muted?
I'm not getting that at all!
Nice even sound.
Loosen up on the pick if the high strings are ringing out.

Looks great... fit and finish.
Sounds very dark and muddy.
Like playing a muted piano while the high chords ring out.
It makes a very unequal balance.
I've owned good Alvarez guitars before but this one is going back
