This cab is relatively lightweight for a bass cabinet, but most importantly, it sounds INSANE! The air really, really moved with this cab.
The two twelve inch speakers blend the best qualities of the 10 inch speakers and 15 inch speakers, providing a tonally versatile and powerful cabinet.
The perfect match for the Ampeg V-4B, of course, but also a fantastic match for other amp heads as well. I use it with my Orange Terror Bass and it just SLAYS.

The cab features is awesome. Nice sleek Ampeg clean look with the sound to go with it. Very punchy and still low end capable packed into this 2-12in cabinet. It’s actually lighter then I thought it would be and the snap handles are great. Only thing is I wish it had caster template holes built in. That would have put it over the edge.

Got this cabinet to go with my Ampeg V-4B amplifier head, and it sounds great. Lot of punch, and it can thump, even on my low Bs.

This thing is sweet.
Running an Ampeg V4B through it. Very articulate and punchy enough to give you enough low end to shake a few booties! Easy to schlep and once I put wheels on it very easy to roll. Just wish Ampeg made a cushioned cover for it.
For me it has been money well spent.

This is a great match for the v4b and if you are looking for great defined rock tone with 8x10 svt character this is it. However it doesn't go super hifi or super low. For that there is the 410hlf. If you like agreesive 70s tube rock tone this cab does that quite well.
