Great for reducing high-frequency ringing.

Product Review
These are more narrow than the Evans equivalent, while being a bit thinner and more flexible than the Remo equivalent. High-frequency ringing is reduced, while sustain isn't reduced substantially (Moongels and other dampening objects that don't go around the entire edge kind of do the opposite). The Evans rings do have the advantage of graduated widths (a 16" ring would be wider than a 10" ring, for example), but they also dampen more than these Aquarian, so these are still handy.

I know the moongel and drumtacs are starting to take over.. but there is no need to change from perfection. These are a must own for any drummer.

A simple solution to a difficult problem.

Product Review
The Aquarian rings that I received appear to be made for smaller size drum heads. Thus, they don't fit tight against the rims like the others that I've used in the past. As a result they were loose and difficult to keep on my drum-heads. And, the moving around resulted in inconsistent sound. But, a piece of tape solved the problem, and they're doing the job that I bought them for. A big plus for me is that they cost less than the others that I've used,

Have used these on all my drums for many years!

Great on all size drums to take away those over tones on ALL drums. The only thing found not great for outside use EXCEPT that I have learned to put 3 or 4 small strips of tape that I use for marking cords (like a lot thinner type of colored duct tape) and now stay on the drums while playing/moving them around!

Great Product for Better Tone

I love these. I hate using gels and tape due to loosing them or reduction in effectiveness over time. They really muffle the undesired head overtones, yet allow for a fucussed shell tone. Your sound guy will love you!

Flexible yet strong. Should last a long time.
Awesome. I put these on my Remo Pinstripes and wow! The annoying reverb is gone and the attack is still there. You get that nice "thud" sound the pros have!
Great value - makes my lower end set sound like it cost $4000.

Extremely Durable and dependable, No NEED for tape!!!
Just set them on the drum head...That's it!
OMG! This product is unbelievable!...you can't imagine how cool it makes even an inexpensive drum souns. I have Aquariun II heads on my kit and once I put these on it's something you can't even describe...They Now sound AMAZING!, you know that "THUD" sound that the pros always seem to have...
