Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? The neck is a tad fat, but width is like an electric. Fret ends were a tad sharp, but easily fixed with some buffing grade sandpaper. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Bright and snappy, but nice tight bottom. With the right pickup, there won't be much howling feedback! Finish How did the stain or paint job look? The finish is one of the nicest I've seen, ESPECIALLY in this price range. Action How was the action out of the box? It needed some minor adjustment to take out a few buzzes, but after that, plays like a dream!
