General What is your overall opinion of this product? It's good quality hardware, but the software eLicenser is a pain and any type of re-install requires begging tech support for a new authorization number. They try to sell you a dongle but if you push you *might* get a new one. Bad business. Quality What is your opinion of the quality of this product? How does it work for different genres of music? The build quality is great for the hardware. The quality of the software for this "hybrid" product is great and integrates well with the hardware. I would think the genres are fairly wide in range since these are emulations of classic synths that have worked their way into rock, electronic, and film scoring. Ease of Use How user friendly is it? Would it work well for a beginner, intermediate or experienced player? Very easy to use, great UI. Features Are the features on the product what you were expecting? What are your favorite features? The features are great. With there was native support in Ableton Live, but it is easy to setup without it (thanks to Live's mapping). Feel How is the feel of the keys? Are the controls laid out well? Top notch pro level. Value Did you get what you were expecting for the price? How does it compare to similar products in the same price range? A little on the pricey side but given the build quality it isn't too bad. It's competitive with similar quality built products from Korg and Akai. Not "cheap plastic" feeling at all. Solid. But the emphasis of it as an actual instrument (hardware + software) is a gimmick. It's basically a nice controller bundled with a cut-down version of their excellent full level soft synths.

General What is your overall opinion of this product? Had multiple issues with the elicenser that Arturia uses, and had no response to support tickets. Based on my experience, I would not purchase another Arturia product. Quality What is your opinion of the quality of this product? How does it work for different genres of music? Keyboard is heavy and not made of plastic, so that's a good thing. Ease of Use How user friendly is it? Would it work well for a beginner, intermediate or experienced player? I was unable to properly activate Arturia's software. Since this is an non-returnable item, the only way you can sell it with software is to purchase a Steinberg USB dongle and transfer the license that way. Take that into consideration when purchasing. Feel How is the feel of the keys? Are the controls laid out well? Keys are a bit on the flimsy side and noisy, but the pads are sensitive. Value Did you get what you were expecting for the price? How does it compare to similar products in the same price range? It seems well made, but the keys are a weak point. Add that to the silly eLicense that Arturia uses and their non-existent support, I'd have a hard time recommending it to anyone.
