This turntable is amazing. I own two of them for my DJ setup and they are solidly built and great workhorse turntables. They have all the features you'd need like 33, 45, and 78 rpm speed selection. It also has start/stop time adjustment, a reverse button, and Ultrapitch selection for you scratchers out there. This turntable is the best super OEM turntable package on the market because you get a dustcover, audio cable, a headshell w/ cart, and a 45 adapter with it. I believe it's the only super OEM that provides all of that in the package. I love these decks and they are more powerful than Technics and sound just as good if not better. I'm very happy with them and I've had mine for 4 years now. Not a single problem and I'm sure they'll last for many more. Definitely pick these up if you're a DJ or even a casual vinyl listener.

This is a great turntable! This machine has great balance and the motor is strong as Sasquatch. It’s a classy looking turntable that’s ready for anything you throw at it from battle scratching to just playing vinyl. I also like the fact that’s it heavy and resists vibration from bass. Thing thing ROCKS!!!

I’ve had a few versions of the lesser expensive Audio Technica turntables and those were good for home use. But with this model, the AT-1240 with the AT-XP5 cartridge, you truly get what you pay for and more. Plays really well and the adjustable Start, Brake and Pitch controls are spot on! Can’t wait to convert some rare vinyl to digital too.

Cant beat em but if you could it would cost over $1000. This is only my second "DJ" deck but it will likely be my last. I would certainly buy it again.
Quality built in preamp and PCB and when I say that I mean the preamp is usable, not audiophile, but it wasnt intended to be...just helps when you hook up to a computer speakers to make tapes (yes tapes, I dont do CDs LOL)
Excellent quality cables included so when you do run to your own external preamp you do get Audiophile sound...yes you do with the right cartridge...in my case currently a AT540VM. I'm not scratching but I do have a large collection and when working in my shop always spinning vinyls because a lot of the music I enjoy never got put on CDs and likely never will. I clean my vinyl on the platter (no, not under power) so I would not be using a belt table...I considered the LP7 but for what purpose? Triple the cost of a MC type cartridge for a modest increase in performance? Zero sonic apologies. Buy it!

One of the better turntables available, especially for the price!
As with most Super-OEM turntables, the build quality is great. Very durable, though fairly heavy.
As with anything, it's important to read the manual so that you understand what you're doing. That being said, it isn't any more difficult to set up than any other turntable.
Has all the features you would expect from a DJ turntable, including reverse and quartz lock.
While probably not quite audiophile quality, it sounds great for general and DJ use.
Great value at a great price!

I own two technic 1200's mkii. They are mint and performed very well with my m44-7 needles. I had hoped that these would be somewhat as good. Turns out they are so much better. Much better torque for intense scratching and back queueing. Premium metal construction and an identical tone arm to the techs.
Build is solid and heavy. Motor is crazy strong.
Ummmm Just Unpack And Play. No taking needed outside of adjusting tone arm for your needle.
The motor and speed functions are the best
Better sound than the tech 1200's
400$ is a very good price. And with 3 pay plan? Priceless.
