Product Review I've used this product for overhead on the drums and for a guitar and am really impressed by the sound quality you can get from it. Definitely a handy multipurpose mic.

Product Review this mic is awesome! low profile. Clear and loud...didn't even need to ring out or do EQ at all. All I do is apply little compression depending what I need to pick up in group singing or solo parts and what distance thy at without any feedback. Out of the box setting is pretty much ready to use on stage. great investment. definitely be adding more.

Product Review Having work with many artist from major down to regional. I’ve had many different mics on my drum kit over the years. But the Audix ADX 51 has to be the best mic & price point. I just currently bought 3 of them for live & in my studio. And I have gotten such a great response from live engineers, I decided to track my drums on them in my studio & wow!! The sound is totally phenomenal. And I have some very high end mics for recording overheads. But these sound even better than those. If you’re looking for a mic that can be used in a live and/or studio situation then I highly recommend the Audix ADX 51’s.

This is one of the best condenser mics available. Sounds absolutely great on cymbals, hi hat, and chimes. It's lightweight but well built and features a bass roll off switch along with a pad switch. Very easy to set up and quite sensitive, so be careful when first setting it up and bringing up the volume. The tone and sound quality has to be heard. You will need little or no EQ when using this mic. Your general opinion of this product. A Great Mic for the money. Well built and thought out. I Highly Recommend this Mic for drummers and other high SPL applications.
