Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Not a must have piece but if you are playing off a wood or hard reflective floor I ould say it would be very good to have. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Nice looking, basically a particle board on top, thick, seems strong, underside is heavy foam and a wedge baffle. It sits on a dense foam not rubber or wood. Action How was the action out of the box? a litle bummed it is shorter than my 4x12 cab, I expected it to hold the cab, perhap the notion was for the cab to sit flat and not be on its rubber pads or to prevent someone from not removing the casters. An air gap might ruin the dampening effect, I am guessing as to their design purpose.
