Heavy, seems well constructed, I own several products from dbx, bbe and art pro.
Features
What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could?
very flexible everything can be customized!
Ease of Use
How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be?
It has auto mode if you just want to quickly use it. Great features as gate, expander/gate", "compressor" "output gain" and "limiter" for each channel
Sound
How is the tone?
Tone is accurate for live recording, sonic maximizer really helped my drums to get the right tone(realistic) and the accordion from my pa-800 as well. I used it the compressors(2 x bbe max) one channel for each instrument as inserts/direct outs
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
had it just for days
Overall
Your general opinion of this product.
I own a dbx 1066 and Art Pro VLA II(really good, twice the money). I was struggling getting a clean recording for my band (keyboard korg pa-800, drums, acoustic guitars steel and nylon and voices)with my yamaha mixer and microtrack II recorder, the sonic maximizer feature set my recording(finally) with the right tone/boost. I'm really satisfied now!
