Are the controls easy to get to while playing? it is a perfectly balanced ,lightweight guitar with all 3 ranges covered....bright clear ,crisp cleans.low end chunk and growl.searing highs for those blazing lead riffs,and the floyd rose helps to accomplish this. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? all of the above.pick-ups are sweet. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? amazing....kudos to the designer.shocks my friends. Action How was the action out of the box? too tough to answer ,everybody likes their own feel.i had it set up in a low position for speed,and it is fast and smooth.

Had one for a couple of years (different paint job of course, but same guitar) seems to play as well as when it was boughtt General Your general opinion of this product. It's a little thin for my taste, but definitely playable. The whole guitar feels exceptionally light by comparison to my other guitars. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Played clean the guitar has a pleasent warm sound. Played with OD or distortion it has a very driving tone and elicits a lot of response from any amp it's hooked up to. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? It was a flawless solid coat. The only thing that I would have liked better is if it had a dark but transparent stain that would permit you to still see the wood grain. Action How was the action out of the box? I've kept it pretty much stock. It's got pretty low action and is perfect for quick shreding and is very responsive with hammer-ons.
