Product Review Very clean sound, and tone considering this is my first condenser microphone. I tried it with my accoustic guitar and sound fantastic using presonus studio one 4 artist DAW,and the Behringer UMC 404hd. The B2-condenser micraphone is well woth the money, if you're on a budget do yourself a favor and get this mic.

only had it for a few days but so far seems to be very durable the overall adjustable dynamics of this mic make it perfect fit for any home studio switches are easily accessible, mount fit right on my stand, XLR is a piece of cake almost too good...mainly because i need to better isolate the vocals as it picks up everything extremely clear Your general opinion of this product. I like this one...I could never get a great acoustic guitar sound, but this mic...just sit it up in front of you with only the guitar and you and it produces wonderful highs beautiful tone..I can't believe it cost only this much..I usualy roll off ever so slightly the highs and in omni mode add just a slight touch of lows. Love it!!

Excellent value and quality !!!

Incredible quality that I would say is rivals condenser mics costing $500 -> $1000+. Rugged all metal casing should give years of use if taken care (stored in case when not in use as condenser mics do not like dust/moisture). No other condenser microphone at this price has both -10db and low frequency roll off switch as well as a multi pattern (caroid, omni and fiqure 8) gold sputtered dual condenser pick up. Typical multi pattern condenser mics start @ $350. Solid casing and supplied with excellent quality case, windscreen and suspension mount. Easy to set and use just be sure to have a 48v phantom power source available. I have a mid range mixer with 48v phantom powered xlr inputs going out of the mixer to 2 powered studio monitors (typical recording set up). I have used the Behringer B2 Pro for vocals and acoustic guitar and the results are impressive. I read reams of reviews of this mic (good and bad) but the ones I felt were credible were from professional studio recording engineers that compared this mic to their vast array of high end condenser mics (neumann etc.) and were blown away by the performance and quality of B2 Pro for less than $200. So I bought it here at American Musical and now I'm going for the Behringer B5 (this was the other Behringer mic the studio engineers recommended) !!!

You won't get a better microphone without spending thousands

I had a number of people told me not to by a Behringer mic, without any hard reasoning, but after using the B-2 for a few weeks now it's become my favorite vocal microphone. The casing is rugged as well as aesthetically pleasing. The case is also incredibly well made. The multiple pattern pick up makes this microphone capable of almost any recording scenario. As easy to use as any standard multi pattern microphone. Like the ADK "Vienna," the slight treble boost eliminates hiss which usually results from high frequency EQing. The mic offers an incredibly clear, full bodied sound that goes worlds beyond its price tag.

Your general opinion of this product.

QUALITY:
Seems as well-built as any good mic...solid, heavy, decent connectors.

FEATURES:
About all you need with a mic...

EASE OF USE:
Plug it in, turn on phantom power, set your gain and go!

VALUE:
Among the best on the market!

SOUND:
I use this mic in the cardioid setting, with no pad or low-end rolloff, to record vocals for music. I also cover the mic with the foam windscreen and use a pop-stopper directly in front of it. The tone I get is nearly perfect, and exactly as Behringer describes it. There's a slight treble rise, but it's not objectionable or "essy". I do find that I prefer to cut treble frequencies on the vocal tracks 2-3dB when mixing, but I'd rather cut highs than have to add them. Note this is just my preference...the raw tone is actually very good, very modern-sounding, I just like a little more "vintage" tone.

Amazing Mic

Your general opinion of this product. This Mic rocks!!! I have a Audio Technica 4033a, which costed me $600 dollars, and the B2 Pro smokes it. Like the others state, I can't believe it was only $150. It sounds extremely clear and smooth. And even though I've heard it said that some people have had to cut back on the highs because of Behringers' 12khz boost, I don't see this as a bad thing at all. In fact, it's a smart feature because we all know that when you increase the highs, you get unwanted hiss, and this ensures that you won't have to bump up the highs.

The Mic Of Mics

Your general opinion of this product.

QUALITY:
Well made strong and sturdy construction. This mic is built to last regardless of it's use! The sound is great . I prefer it for vocals depending on the vocalist; in some cases over the AKG 414.

FEATURES:
The dual element with it's three polar patterens is worth it's weight in gold. The switchable roll off and -10db pab is a great addition to an already great sounding mic...

EASE OF USE:
No matter the micing situation, this mic shines....! This is the mic I would have if I were only allowed one microphone!

VALUE:
With 20 years of recording under my belt I can say that I am truly impressed with this mic. It's worth 10 times it's price and I do recommend this mic for it's price to sound ratio.

SOUND:
Again, sound to price ratio is a 10 to 1....!

Your general opinion of this product. IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR A HI-QUALITY PRO MIC AT AN AFFORDABLE PRICE, THIS IS IT. THIS MIC HAS A GREAT PROFESSIONAL SOUND, VERY GOOD SPECS, AND ALL THE CONTROLS YOU'LL FIND ON MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE MICS. IT'S VERSITILE MULTI-PATTERN PICKUP WORKS WELL ON LOTS OF DIFFERENT NOISE MAKERS. I BOUGHT MINE 4-MONTHS AGO AND I'M STILL GIDDY WITH LAUGHTER!

Your general opinion of this product. I recently started my own home studio & the B-2 Pro is the mic I started off with. So far I've recorded piano, banjo, mandolin & vocals & have been very pleased with the clarity & over-all quality of this mic. I also use a Behringer BF1200 bass amp and have been impressed with it. Behringer gives you all the quality you need without the HUGE price of most of the leading studio gear companies.

Your general opinion of this product. I bought this mic 3 weeks ago and have used it for vocals only, I have used a lot of different mics before but this one was pretty much '' plug-n-play '' i can't believe how good it sounds. Im going to buy one more so i can see how good they will work for overheads on the drums. I'll let ya know how they worked later.

Damn near as good as The high end AKG mics

Your general opinion of this product. As far as transparency goes, the mic is just incredible. No color added to any tone, which makes EQ'ing SO much easier. I found the 12 Khz boost great because then you can roll back the high end in mixing and really get rid of a lot of hiss. The low end leaves a lot of room for you to bring up without overdriving. It's not as good as the AKG professional series, but for $700 less you're foolish to pass this one up.

Your general opinion of this product.

QUALITY:
Great quality.

FEATURES:
Most features I've seen in a mic. Selectable Low freq. roll-off, -10dB, and uni-directional, omni-directional and figure eight patterns.

EASE OF USE:
Very easy to use.

VALUE:
You can't buy a mic this good anywhere else for the price. Mics comparable to the B2 go for a grand, but you can buy a B2 Pro for $150 bucks all day long.

SOUND:
Very CLEAR sound. Picks up vocals very well and also does excelent with string instruments.

Can't beat it for the money. I recommend it to anyone, and already have. I don't know how in the world Behringer can do it for such a low price. AWESOME!

Your general opinion of this product. that I have ever used. And it is a fraction of the price. It is very clear and doesn't need much if any eq'ing at all. I started with a B1 and recently got this one. I am very pleased. The B1 is great also, but this one is even better.

Your general opinion of this product.

QUALITY:
I bought mine Scratch & Dent (never found any scratches or dents BTW), my only real complaint about the quality is that the foam in the case has broken apart a little bit. It doesn't have the casing or anything you'd expect from a $1000+ microphone. But it doesn't feel cheap either.

FEATURES:
There are three different switches on this, one is a three way pickup selector (omni, cardioid, figure-8), the other is a -10db pad, and the last is a low-cut filter. The included shockmount is decent, (although it fits the smaller mic adapters) I don't use the windscreen but an actual pop filter, but I would if I were using it outdoors or something (not sure why).

EASE OF USE:
As easy as any condensor mircophone, make sure you know your pickup patterns, axis and the tonal characteristics of the microphone.

VALUE:
Concidering once again that this isn't a $1000+ microphone, you could honestly do a lot worse for the pr

HEY BEHRINGER, will you please slow down, to let these other mic companies catch up to your much lower prices. This mic is very good, no coloration, nice flat sound, and strong frequency range. (You can record anything with this mic) With the 12khz your mixes are so much easier. You will never regret purchasing the B2-Pro and yes, many other mic's like this cost so much more, but for the quality and the price, BEHRINGER, YOUR THE MAN!!!!

Your general opinion of this product. Really quite surprised, had to cut the high end response, too much "presence". The microphone has a very open sound and no "color". Good recording mic for crisping up drums and vocals. Glad to add it to the collection.
