General Your general opinion of this product. I can be pretty picky about sound quality sometimes. I knew going into my studio build I would need to make a large investment in my monitors for recording. I've had great luck with Behringer products in the past and I wasn't let down here either. The output on these is simply amazing! It maybe even on the edge of overkill they crank it out so much. Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? The cabinets are well crafted. The finish was nice with zero defects. I set them up next to my pc monitor to test the shielding and they do a good job not messing up my screen. The built in amp seems to work very well. It dosen't sound like it's straining to push these speakers and when you don't have audio playing you don't hear any hiss or noise. Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be? Having a built in amp makes this a breeze to set up. Plug in your power and an audio cable and you're off and running in literally seconds. Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could? Ribbon tweeters do a really good job of reproducing highs and you can definitely hear a difference. Its adds a lot to the stereo separation. Well worth the price difference in my opinion. The auto on\off didn't work very well for me though. It was supposed to turn on when a signal was detected and go into stand by after no activity. Mine simply didn't turn themselves on. Sound How is the tone? The highs are crisp and stand out well but what really impressed me was the bass response. I can actually hear the 50-80 hz range when I used the tone generator in Pro Tools. In cheaper monitors I've heard a lot of mud here but these do a great job of keeping it clean and tight. I did have issues with bass build up in the corners of my room with these. I imagine in very small rooms this could be worse. Reliability How has it stood up over time? I've been running these monitors in my studio for about 6 months now and have had no issues with their reliability.

General Your general opinion of this product. These are remarkably accurate monitors with a wide frequency response and plenty of power. I have Adam A7's and Fostex PM-2 Mkll's. I used the A7's for nearfield monitoring and the Fostex for a big sound test after mastering. The 3031's are as clean and precise as the Adams, with a far more extended bass, and almost match the Fostex for SPL. I now use the 3031's for nearfield monitoring, mixing and mastering. Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? The speakers I received have displayed nothing but perfection. I am well versed in what to expect from high quality monitors and these deliver. Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be? I have a large listening room, around 60 sq metres, with exposed timber beams, thick curtains and carpet and 7mm reinforced glass on all windows which are always covered while monitoring. The speakers are mounted on stands well away from walls, the tweeters around 1.9 m from floor level. I set these at all the "Typical" levels for low frequency, room compensation and high frequency. Perfect. In a well damped room any good monitor is easy to use. Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could? All the necessary features are there, and if the input trim is set to zero dB it's easy because there is an indent. I use the master monitor level control on my recording equipment to set room levels and I suggest that everyone does that. There is no need to mess with the input trim. Sound How is the tone? These are as accurate as any studio monitors I've heard. The bass is more than adequate if you're a good listener and/or have experience, but if you want a subbie you should be able to afford one because you have got an absolute bargain in these. Reliability How has it stood up over time? I've been using these for one day after a two day run in at low levels. That's no time at all in the greater scheme of mixing and mastering, but I'm confident,as a technician and engineer, that these will continue to improve over the next month or so and will do their job for years.

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? I have found that sometimes it can have assembling defects: for example, resonanse buzzing on loud (or even not so loud) sound on some frequencies. Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could? Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be? Sound How is the tone? Really good sound, very truth, I did not notify difference with >$1000 systems, and I have found that it is really better then some very expansive systems (I think that is costs more only because of brand, but not sound quality). Reliability How has it stood up over time? General Your general opinion of this product. I am happy with this monitors. I have got good pair not from first time, but finally, I own two very good and very tuth monitors.

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Well built and heavy, which is a plus. The shield protection for the monitors is great cause I have dual monitors right next to them. No problems at all. Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could? Great sound wether they are upright or on their sides. High end is a little bright but can be adjusted on the back of the monitor Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be? Very easy hookup to my audio interface.. I like having the option of XLR or 1/4" inputs Sound How is the tone? Sound is right in the pocket. Of course it depends on the mixer too, how he hears the music he or she is dealing with, but if its too bright or dull both can be adjusted on the rear of the monitor. Reliability How has it stood up over time? I've had to replace them before but it was the older version with the round tweeter instead of the ribbon. These have been holding up very well now over 2yrs. General Your general opinion of this product. I love these monitors. They get the job done and type of setup that I have they fit perfectly.
