Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? I have found that sometimes it can have assembling defects: for example, resonanse buzzing on loud (or even not so loud) sound on some frequencies. Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could? Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be? Sound How is its Tone? Really good sound, very truth, I did not notify difference with >$1000 systems, and I have found that it is really better then some very expansive systems (I think that is costs more only because of brand, but not sound quality). Reliability How has it stood up over time? Overall Your general opinion of this product. I am happy with this monitors. I have got good pair not from first time, but finally, I own two very good and very tuth monitors.

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Well built and heavy, which is a plus. The shield protection for the monitors is great cause I have dual monitors right next to them. No problems at all. Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could? Great sound wether they are upright or on their sides. High end is a little bright but can be adjusted on the back of the monitor Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be? Very easy hookup to my audio interface.. I like having the option of XLR or 1/4" inputs Sound How is its Tone? Sound is right in the pocket. Of course it depends on the mixer too, how he hears the music he or she is dealing with, but if its too bright or dull both can be adjusted on the rear of the monitor. Reliability How has it stood up over time? I've had to replace them before but it was the older version with the round tweeter instead of the ribbon. These have been holding up very well now over 2yrs. Overall Your general opinion of this product. I love these monitors. They get the job done and type of setup that I have they fit perfectly.

How playable do you consider this product to be? Just Plug Em In & Adjust. Sound How is its Tone? Great,Fantastic Sound! Reliability How has it stood up over time? Time will tell! Overall Your general opinion of this product. I was shopping around for Monitors to replace the KRK Rokit 5 Monitors I had.(First Generation)The Rokits brought me Ear Fatigue, and the Bass Response was Horrible! I went to another retailer, and put JBL 2325P's,Mackie MR5's & Yamaha HS 50m's side by side to a test. To be Honest with you,the JBL's didn't sound that much different than the Rokit 5's. The Mackie's were Bass Overhyped, and the Yamaha's were really Bad,..and I Appreciate Yamaha Gear!(Sorry Yamaha)I then read the not so many Reviews about the Behringer Truth B3030 Series Monitors, and decided from what little Reviews available,I decided to give them a shot. And I'm so Glad I did! Ribbon Tweeters for the price are a No-Brainer to start with! Kevlar Woofers are another for the Accuracy they deliver! These Monitors are Fantastic! Great, not over-hyped Bass.Crystal-Clean High's,and a fairly Good Mid Delivery!Great over-all Monitors! And for the Price!!
Compared these to Adam A7's, I own both.

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? The speaker cabinet is very solid, but the cheap plastic baffle leaves a bit more to be desired. All in all it is good looking. The Auo-On does not work at low levels. Very bad port noise when pushed to it's limits which should be a reminder to stay within it's limits. I like the downward connection ports for audio and power. This allows for closer wall placing. In addition, the 1/4 inch jack instead of RCA is a bonus IMO. Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could? Nice solid construction. Cheap plastic baffle with slight imperfections on surface. The Auto-On feature does not work at low levels, which is disappointing. Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be? These monitors must be used within their limits. They are not as rugged as the Adam A7's as far as low frequencies and SPL's. Major port turbulence will let you know that you have reached that limit. This is also more of a Mid Field monitor than near field. These will not sound good at 3-5 feet or less. The b3030a will most likely work for those distances. Not quite as adjustable as the A7's as far as setting levels of HF and LF drivers and EQ shelves. Off axis response is more narrow with these, but works in favor of them being a near field. At the 5+ feet these sound more forward and larger than the A7's. Sound How is its Tone? As mentioned already, the b3031a has a similar tone to the A7's, albeit a bit more sweeter high-end. There is a bit more openness in the 2-4khz range in comparison to the A7's. However this was at a listening distance of 10 feet. Reliability How has it stood up over time? Owned for a week so far. So far so good. The amplifier white noise on the b3031a's I found to be lower than the A7's which is surprising. Overall Your general opinion of this product. The b3031a sounds a bit sweeter in the high end. There is a definite characteristic to it. It's not bad, but you notice it more than say the analytical flatness of the A7's. However, the sound timbre of these two monitors are very close. I did numerous test with various people in a acoustically treated room and they hard a hard time telling them apart but usually found the b3031a's to be mostly favorable. I attribute this to the "sweetness" of the high-end. Overall a GREAT bargain, especially for Home Theater setups or budget studios.
